Commonwealth makeover for station

One of Scotland's largest train stations has been transformed to support the country's bid to host the 2014 Commonwealth Games. Queen Street station in Glasgow has been decorated with sporting banners and liveries to back the bid.

The forlorn looking Consort House (at the southwest corner of Glasgow Queen Street station site) which has now been internally stripped and has had most of its windows removed. The scaffolding will be extended to enable floor by floor demolition.
