The boiler of NRM owned 70013, receiving attention outside the shed at Loughborough (GCR), in November 2019. The chassis, wheels and tender were undergoing overhaul inside the shed.

D8098 was effectively the token diesel at the GCR ^Last Hurrah of 2019^ gala on 16th November 2019, although a DMU pottered about somewhere during the event. The Class 20 is seen running round its train at Loughborough Central.
