A southbound EWS coal train runs through Garsdale on the Settle & Carlisle line in November 2004. On the right is the old platform once used by trains on the NER Wensleydale route to Northallerton via Hawes. The route may one day see trains running again, given the long term objectives of the Wensleydale Railway Association.
