The 're-flowering' of Wemyss Bay station has recently benefitted from the installation of two large tower containers. These serve as a reminder of earlier days, when tiers of potted plants were used to decorate the station concourse, attracting prizes for dedicated station staff. Today the 'Friends of Wemyss Bay Station' received invaluable assistance from Parklea 'Branching Out', a voluntary organisation providing horticultural training and work experience opportunities to those with special training needs, physical and sensory disabilities. The new 'flower-towers' will provide a colourful display during the summer months.
