As well as the real Old Trafford ground [See image 21085] there is this bit of a football club nearby with its own station. The halt is electrified and used on match days by services that would normally terminate at Deansgate being extended. At the far end of the platform the line through the halt is also connected to the lines into the Trafford Park container base that lies just beyond the far bridge.
