Plans to reopen the railway line between east Lancashire and North Yorkshire remain on track, campaigners say.

Buffer stops stand at the current terminus of the line at Colne on 9 November 2007. A double track once continued northeast from here to Skipton, the junction for Carlisle, Leeds and Bradford. A local rail action group is currently campaigning for the reopening of this route.
