View west across the A711 St Mary's Street, Kirkcudbright on a rainy afternoon in August 2009. The stately old building is the 1864 terminus of the Kirkcudbright Railway. The main part of the old station (closed in 1965) now houses a Beauty and Fitness Studio, while the small structure on the corner of the block, once the station toilets, is now the home of the local bookies. (Subliminal message there perhaps?)
