Wemyss Bay Junction is one of those junctions named after the place they're the junction for, rather than where they are situated; Wemyss Bay station is 10 miles away from the evocatively named junction which is in a workaday location between Port Glasgow and Bogston or Whinhill stations.  On 1 September 334 029 comes off the branch heading for Glasgow Central.
