Milton Keynes

I have now spent 4.5 years commuting to the Milton Keynes area. Not my choice, but needs must. Every so often, you see something interesting.

A shame - they could have had a very neat self-contained light railway operation. Newport Pagnell's former distant signal post stands aloof, some 46 years after closure; the cleared station site is behind the camera. 1/51

22/01/2010
Ken Strachan

Newport Pagnell

Newport Pagnell Railway

The Newport Pagnell Railway Company succeeded in building a branch to their town from Wolverton, but failed to connect it to Olney on the Bedford to Northampton line.
