31/07/1902	Brynmawr and Western Valleys Railway Line taken over jointly by the London and North Western Railway and the Great Western Railway as the Nantyglo and Blaina Iron Company were asking too high a price to buy their private Nantyglo Iron Works to Brynmawr railway.
12/07/1905	Brynmawr and Western Valleys Railway Opened formally
01/08/1905	Brynmawr and Western Valleys Railway Opened to freight.
28/05/1906	Brynmawr and Western Valleys Railway Opened to passengers.
30/04/1962	Brynmawr and Western Valleys Railway Closed to passengers.
/11/1963	Brynmawr and Western Valleys Railway Closed.
