This goods line was west of Annan and ran south to near Annan Waterfoot on the west bank of the River Annan near its entry into the Solway Firth. It served Cochran's Boiler Works. The line made a trailing connection to the west/northbound line of the former Glasgow, Dumfries and Carlisle Railway main line. Some track remains in place, overgrown.
These locations are along the line.
A signal box opened at this junction in 1900 for the Newbie Brick and Tile Works and Cochran's Boiler Works.
