/ /1895	Achill Extension Railway Line opened from Mallaranny [2nd] (replacing the Mullaranny [1st] of the Westport and Mullaranny Railway) to Achill. The Government backed line was handed over to the Midland Great Western Railway on completion.

/11/1911	Westport and Mullaranny Railway Achill Extension Railway Petrol railcar introduced.

This was the temporary terminus of the line from Westport. It was replaced by Mallaranny [2nd] on the Achill Extension Railway which ran west to Achill.
