The brand new entrance, giving access to a much improved and larger ticket hall at White Hart Lane station, opened on 26th August 2019, seen here one month later. The station was originally opened by the Great Eastern Railway on 22nd July 1872 with the extension from Stoke Newington to a junction with the Enfield Town branch of 1849 at Lower Edmonton (now Edmonton Green). Lifts have also been installed giving step free access to and from the platforms at this station for the first time - but, surprise surprise, the one to the down platform (which I wanted to use) was 'out of order' on this day.
