Whifflet Upper
End of the line at Whifflet, looking west in August 2006. The lattice-girder bridge brought the Rutherglen & Coatbridge line over the Monkland & Kirkintilloch's Whifflet South - Sunnyside Junction route. The remains of the Caledonian High Level station platforms (Whifflet Upper) still hide up there somewhere amongst the greenery.
