Bedford Place Tunnel

Looking north on 2 July 2008 along the route of the Alloa Wagonway running below Bedford Place towards the Drysedale Street/Mar Street underpass in the distance. To the right is the ramp up to street level, above which can be seen a statue of St Margaret standing over the Alloa War Memorial in its walled garden of remembrance on Bank Street. The memorial was unveiled by Field Marshall Earl Haig himself in 1924.
