Caton

Caton closed in 1961, six years before the line from Lancaster to Wennington. The station itself has been heavily modified as a private residence and the goods shed has been converted and is now Caton Catholic Church. Viewed from the site of the level crossing in August 2008, the old railway door on the side of the building is still visible and the trackbed cycle path runs across the front.
