Arkleston Junction

Two Black 5s emerge westbound from under the Arkleston Road Bridge, where they had been held at signals. The train nearest the camera is heading for Gourock while the other is on the Ayr line. At this time (Autumn 1966) there were 12 tracks at this point - up/down Renfrew, up/down Gourock, up/down Ayr, 2 down goods loops and 4 engineers sidings.
