Thornton-Cleveleys
For a long time after closure in 1970 Thornton still had its long platform canopies but then became derelict after freight traffic ceased. Now in the care of a preservation group the station is looking much better although the modern building is encroaching the down platform. View towards Fleetwood. Can anyone confirm whether the canopy components from here were used in the station at Blackpool Pleasure Beach? See image 19426
