Thornton-Cleveleys
Perchance it is not dead but only sleeping, which was originally said about the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway closure but might equally apply to the Fleetwood Branch as it waits patiently for preservation efforts to bear fruit. This is the view south from New Road crossing. The bridge in the foreground carries the A 585 Fleetwood link road and immediately beyond it is the former junction with the long closed Poulton avoiding line.
