In the late 1980s, the weekday 07.10 Dunblane to Edinburgh service was a 47/7 Push-Pull duty. The train arrived from Stirling in the bay platform at Dunblane shortly after 06.30 and then reversed at Dunblane North Box. This view was taken around 06.45 one morning in April 1989 when the temperature was so low that diesel had frozen in the tanks of lorries parked nearby.
