Hest Bank
The view of Morecambe Bay from the train opens out as a Manchester Airport TPE service, formed by 185124, approaches the level crossing at Hest Bank. This gives access to the foreshore area that can be seen above the signal box. The view from the footbridge is towards Bolton-le-Sands, where another level crossing is also controlled from Hest Bank.
