Ainderby
Remains of Ainderby station (closed 1954) looking south across the former Northallerton - Garsdale line on 3 October 2008, with Station Lane level crossing on the left. A short distance to the west of here is Leeming Bar, headquarters of the Wensleydale Railway, who currently operate services between there and Redmire and who have long term ambitions to restore and reopen the whole of the former 40 mile link between the ECML and the S&C.
