Grimsargh
Ever since final closure in 1967 the bridge over the Longridge branch trackbed south of Grimsargh has been a traffic bottleneck without serving any real purpose. Now however, a footpath and cycleway from the village is being extended and will pass under the road at this point. There are seperate footbridges on both sides of the narrow road bridge.
