Daisyfield

Although Preston power box now controls Daisyfield Junction the small cabin at the nearby closed station remains for the gatekeeper. It has recently been refurbished and also has a walkway from the cabin steps to the gates and the similarities with Horrocksford Junction box, further up the line, are apparent. In addition to the hourly Sprinters, and weekend diversions, an increase in Anglo-Scottish freight passing here is also anticipated with the December 2008 timetable changes.
