Dunfermline MPD
For a period during 1966 Dunfermline shed was home to 6 Thompson class B1 4-6-0 locomotives, one of which, no 61180, is seen near the ash handling plant in the summer of that year. This particular example, a 1947 product of the Vulcan Foundry, had only one more year to go, being withdrawn by BR in May of 1967 and cut up at MM&S Wishaw three months later.
