Holcombe Brook
Another last weekend of services picture on the Holcombe Brook branch of the Bury and Tottington District Railway, but unfortunately it is also the last submission in this small collection of pictures. A smart looking Bury crew pose for Cam Camwell from the footplate of L&YR Radial 2-4-2T 50655 as they run into the Holcombe Brook terminus after another 3¾ mile run from Bury Bolton St, calling at six intermediate halts and stations on the way. The official closure date was Monday 5 May 1952.
