Layton
Before Northern Rail finalised its livery it experimented with a number of trial schemes, including this predominantly white livery still carried by 156425 in 2009. This unit is seen pulling into Layton from Blackpool North on a Manchester Victoria service. At the far end of this long straight is the entrance to the still extensive Blackpool Carriage Sidings, which also has a fuelling point.
