Perth South Shed
McIntosh 2P 0-4-4 no 55204 is seen abandoned in a siding alongside Perth South Shed in August 1964, more than 18 months after official withdrawal. The connecting rods have been removed and one end of each can be seen protruding through the fill point of the water tank on each side. The locomotive was eventually cut up at Motherwell Machinery & Scrap, Wishaw, 4 months later. See image 69824 for a March 1961 view of the loco at work on the Killin branch.
