The thrice-weekly St Boswells - Greenlaw branch pickup goods west of Gordon at Easter time in 1965. The train is crossing the bridge over the A6105 (since removed) returning west towards Earlston. The two wagons being propelled by the diesel shunting locomotive are destined for Earlston sawmill. The outline of Greenknowe Tower, built by James Seton in 1581, can just be made out through the trees on the right. The Tower is now in the care of Historic Scotland.
