Gresley class D49 no 62727 The Quorn awaits the cutter's torch in Darlington works scrapyard on 12 March 1961, around 2 months after being withdrawn from 53A Hull Dairycoates shed. Disposal date is recorded as 7 weeks later on 30 April 1961. [Note the locomotive's nameplate is still attached!]
