A despondent looking Gresley A3 Pacific no 60090 Grand Parade, minus nameplates, stands alongside the old coaling stage at Eastfield shed. One of the locomotives transferred to 65B St Rollox in its twilight years to operate the 3 hour Glasgow - Aberdeen services, the photograph is thought to have been taken in the Autumn of 1963, following the A3s withdrawal from 65B and a short time before being cut up at nearby Cowlairs in January of 1964.
