The 1Z77 North West Tour from Birmingham New Street, jointly organised by the Manchester Rail Travel Society and the Severn Valley Railway Society, stands at Chinley on 20 April 1968. Locomotives in charge for this section of the tour were Black 5s nos 45110 (leading) and 44949.
