4472 Flying Scotsman, with steam sanders in operation, is seen struggling to round Shipley station west to south curve in June 1981, with the empty stock of The North Yorkshireman, whilst heading from Keighley to Bradford Forster Square Goods Yard for servicing; and for turning on the Shipley Triangle ready to return north.
