Glenrothes with Thornton
Unusually, the bidirectional platforms at Glenrothes are on different
lines and whereas the Fife Circle platform 1 sees three trains an hour during the day, platform 2, serving the north curve to the main line, has no departures between 0728 and 2246. The Customer Information Screen therefore doesn't have much to do so contents itself with a welcome to a 'Thornton Glenrothes' station, a name I suspect Thornton residents would prefer.
