Whifflet Central Junction
Looking south at Whifflet over the site of the former works lines. Tennents had a works here, latterly run by Sheffield Forgemasters. Sadly this has closed and been demolished (anyone know the dates?) and the internal works sidings here lifted. Formerly this trackbed was the north part of the GBHCR line from Hamilton to Whifflet where it met the Monkland and Kirkintilloch Railway. See image 7975.
