Whifflet Central Junction
Looking north towards Whifflet (NB). Behind the camera the routes to Hamilton and Palacecraig divided. The Tennents works was located here on the right and the building seen on the right is the only part remaining. The line here remained in use as an internal line even after the connection to the railway network had fallen out of use. This photograph was taken to compare with another of mine take 22 years before. The building on the right is of shot to the right in the earlier photograph. See image 7974.
