Winsford

Then DB Schenker operated EWS liveried 60096 on coal empties, held at signals south of Winsford Station on 1 September 2009. It is possibly running to Liverpool Docks for loading for a Fiddlers Ferry Power Station working. This loco is one of ten of the class that then had an initial period of operation with Colas after their purchase from DB; but all have been operated by GBRf over recent years, primarily on the many aggregate and Drax Power Station Biomass workings. As of late 2024 60096 (and 60047) is still to be repainted from the base Colas livery into GBRf livery.
