Adlington [Lancashire]
Looking south from the road bridge at Adlington station on 16 October 2009. The narrowness of the platforms, especially at the south end, is quite unusual. To stand behind the yellow line involves keeping very close to the fence, something that is advisable with the speed of the trains that do not call here.
