Backworth Colliery
A NCB Austerity 0-6-0ST leaves the colliery yard, and approaches the 'B' road level crossing, with a single wooden bodied coal wagon in tow. Although most of the wagons seen around the pit that day in 1975 were standard unfitted 20T steel hoppers there were still a large number of these wooden bodied trucks in internal use, even at this late date.
