Treffry's Viaduct from the east end in November 2009. This viaduct was on Treffry's (eastern) Railway. The railway ran from the canal at Pontsmill up the 1 in 10 Carmeers incline, then on the level it ran over the viaduct and on to Bugle. The line was horse worked except on the incline. The present day Newquay - Par line passes under this viaduct on a new alignment at the west end.
