Bonnington North Junction

Please refer to map see image 23914 and imagine yourself on the line to the left of 'Flour Mills' (the original Chancelot Mills) looking south. The 'LNER Loop Line' went through the trees to the left, and the abutments of that overbridge at the end of Dalmeny Road survive. A direct connection between Granton Harbour and Leith Docks must surely have been of limited use, and the map suggests the junction was already severed.
