Bay Horse
A very gloomy day for Ian Riley's second Black 5 no 44871, on its first outing, going from Manchester to Carlisle via Shap and returning via the S&C. It was on time to the minute coming north through Bay Horse in tandem with 45407 at 0915 on 30 December - but the sun had forgotten to get up this morning!
