Bay Horse
The National Rail Strike Day on 27th July 2022 again saw freight services on the WCML concentrated into a day time window, leading to some unusual sightings. GBRf 66731 'Capt. Tom Moore. A True British Inspiration', running in 'NHS' livery, was at the head of a long but fairly lightly loaded container train from Carlisle New Yard to Bescot, seen here in the cutting at Forton, just to the south of Bay Horse.
