You're on a charge! 46115 'Scots Guardsman' is 'marched' back to Carnforth in disgrace after failing at Preston on 'The Cotton Mill Express' on 30 January 2010. In reality WCRC sent 47760 to tow the train home after it was terminated at Preston on the outward leg of the railtour see image 27439. On the left of the photograph is a film crew who had been filming the historian Dan Cruickshank. It appears that he had been due to travel on the train and cameras had been mounted on the locomotive. Presumably there is a programme coming to our TV screens later this year.
