Preston
Ready for the off? - well ...errr ..not exactly. After a spirited run down from Lancaster 46115 was unfortunately declared a failure at Preston due to a brake problem. The Cotton Mill Express was terminated here and Scots Guardsman had a tail lamp placed on its buffer beam to be hauled back to Lancaster and Carnforth See image 27431.
