Most trains at Cardonald are whoosing through on their way to and from Ayrshire destinations running non-stop between Glasgow and Paisley, managing briefly to drown out the roar of the M8 which runs parallel to
the lines. Every hour however two of the three services to Gourock call
at the (almost) inseparable trio of Cardonald, Hillington East and
Hillington West. On 17 February 314 209 pulls in heading west.
