Brush Type 4 no 1628 coupled to BRCW no D5312 at Ferryhill MPD on 23 April 1973. There appears to be a cloud of steam around the front of the Type 4, suggesting that the driver is checking the steam heating equipment before moving off shed to take over a train at Aberdeen station.
