Leuchars
View over the south end of Leuchars station on 14 April 2010. The site of the bay used by some East Fife line services can clearly be made out. St Andrews still appears on the departure monitors here, but the platform number is 'BUS'. Note the shortening of the Up platform: this is mirrored at the northern end see image 28538 making Platform 1 significantly shorter than Platform 2. This is quite an achievement for an island station and I can't quite work out the rationale behind it!
