Peebles [2nd]
Spotted on 20 April 2004, this addition to the wall alongside the site of Peebles station (now occupied by the A703 Edinburgh Road) has appeared in the past few days. While the type of 4-4-0 depicted rings no bells, the locomotive number 64587 is that of the J37 0-6-0 used to haul the SLS Farewell to Peebles railtour on 3 February 1962 see image 23614.
