The abandoned 64F Bathgate shed, by then trackless, seen in February 1970, three and a half years after official closure. The old shed was sold off by BR shortly afterwards and continued in use for another 40 years or so, initially as a garage and latterly as a building maintenance company. The structure was eventually demolished in September 2009 as part of a major redevelopment of the area in connection with construction of the new Bathgate station see image 25412.
